AGM decisions and legal status

At the AGM on 28 October 2026, members approved the organisational direction and updated governance documents, appointed Carla-Marie Richards as Treasurer, accepted a financial report and approved pursuing grants. The Association's President is Tanya Louise Hicks and its Secretary is Taija Wilde.

Legal status: AGM approval is distinct from Queensland registration of amended rules. ACNC charity, Public Benevolent Institution and DGR applications have been made, but approval has not been confirmed. Donations must not be represented as tax deductible unless endorsement is granted.
